Client Lounge → Partner Sessions
Read through this fully. Both of you. It will make the session smoother, safer, and a whole lot more fun.
Let's Be Clear
Boudoir is sensual. It is lightly suggestive and sometimes sexy. But it is not sexual. That distinction matters, and I want you to walk in knowing exactly where the line is so nobody is surprised.
A boudoir session can include lingerie, lounge-wear, evening wear, a partner's clothing, implied nudity, body jewelry, fabrics, feathers... even an outdoor set. It can have voyeuristic elements. But if anything crosses into fetish, kink, BDSM, or erotica territory, the session is more than boudoir.
The following actions change a boudoir session into erotica: implied or actual self-pleasure, hands down pants or between thighs, straddling to imply a sexual act, or implied or actual sex acts of any kind.
DISCLOSURE: nearly every session that I photograph has implied acts of self-pleasure (hands between thighs) and with couples, it's implied sexual acts. Thus, for legal purposes, additional paperwork is required (see below). Finally, ACTUAL sexual acts and actual self-pleasure are not permitted.
The following items change a boudoir session into fetish or BDSM: handcuffs, collars, chains, ropes, spreader bars, gags, binding or bondage tape, or anything that restricts movement. I do these types of sessions, but they are not standard upgrades. They are included in the premium and elite bonus categories. If you want this type of session, clients are required to be able to get themselves in and out of the bondage or have someone present who can restrict and release the restriction. Additional paperwork is required.
If you are looking to perform explicit sexual content that is not implied during your session, this is not the right fit, and I will tell you that directly and kindly before we even begin.
I will always be direct with you about what I will and will not photograph. This protects you, me, the studio environment, and the integrity of the work.
Everything is posed. I will direct where to stand, where to place your hands, when to almost kiss, where to look, and how close to be. If it looks intense in the final image, that is because it is directed well. Not because anything explicit is actually happening.
Please do not start making out without direction, grab each other's bodies without being told, or escalate beyond what is being posed. If that happens, the session will end immediately. I do not enjoy saying that. But it has happened before.
Because I photograph implied intimacy and implied sexual acts, this technically qualifies as erotica under US law, which means we must be compliant with US Code 2257. This is not optional and it protects all of us.
Here is what that means for your session:
One important note: I can easily track where I place your images. But if you tell me where you plan to place them, I am legally required to record that information as well. To keep things simple, please do not share those details with me.
Everything is posed and fully directed. You will never be left guessing. Here is what the day looks like:
What is not appropriate during the session:
You can absolutely compliment each other, hype each other up, laugh, and make jokes. This is a professional studio. I photograph intimate content, but I still have boundaries and they are not negotiable.
Consent goes both ways in this studio and I mean that for all of us.
You can always say:
At the same time, my boundaries are not negotiable. Clear direction and clear limits are what make this experience comfortable and safe for everyone in the room.
If at any point I feel that the session is moving in a direction that violates my boundaries or the safety of anyone in the studio, I will stop the session. I will not continue. That is not a threat. It is a promise I make to protect the integrity of this space.
We do not provide a masculine wardrobe in studio. All masculine outfits must be brought to the session. Please make sure everything is in like-new condition, clean, lint-free, ironed, and brought on hangers to prevent wrinkles during travel. Wrinkled or worn clothing photographs poorly and cannot be fixed in editing.

General guidelines:
If you are unsure about an outfit, send photos ahead of time for approval.
It does not. Many poses will look very steamy in the final images. That is intentional. Lighting, angles, body placement, and direction create that effect. But there are no sexual acts, no explicit touching, and no escalation beyond what is directed. Everything is posed. In reality most poses are physically structured and sometimes difficult to hold. You will be focused on balance, hand placement, posture, and following direction.
It is a common question. Short answer: it is rarely an issue. During the session we are constantly talking, you are being directed step by step, and the poses require focus and body awareness. Most people are concentrating too much to drift into anything explicit. If someone needs a quick reset we pause, shift poses, adjust wardrobe, take a breath, and move on. No big deal. We handle it calmly and without calling attention to it.
Both of you should read through this full guide before the session. Review everything together. If you have questions, ask them before the day of. I would rather answer ten questions early than have anyone walk in uncertain about something.
