I love my ladies, and I love that version of boudoir that brings power to women, and boudoir is so much more than a very narrow box, babes.

The core of what I do in my studio is based in empowerment, but that’s not exclusive to a specific gender identity, number of people, or couple type.

There’s a special place in my studio for the not-so-Valentine-version of two people who love each other and are deeply connected choose to be photographed and seen in one frame.

What to Expect in a Couples Boudoir Session

The Same Boudoir Experience Ease-In for Two

When you arrive at Enchanted Moments Artistry for a couples session, we start the same way I start every session. I am settling you beautiful humans in before we ever get in front of a camera.

Music is playing and you’re touring the studio. I’m facilitating ease and the opportunity for your nervous system to breathe before I ask anything of it (and you).

And believe me, couples sessions come with plenty of nerves. The intensity of the experience is heightened because there’s now an audience for each and every vulnerable moment.

I’m factoring all of that into the couples experience, and the pacing in your couples session is absolutely intentional.

I Guide Everything

You are never standing in front of the camera with your partner trying to figure out what to do with your hands or where to look or whether what you're doing is landing. It’s not happening.

With two of you, I’m directing every pose and supporting you as you lean in and learn together.

You bring the connection to the images, but the logistics of capturing it are entirely mine to manage.

You Set the Tone and the Limits

What you desire from your shoot might be wildly different from other couples. It might be wildly different than your solo shoot preferences.

Some couples want a shoot that’s edgy and electric.

Others come ready for a tender and intimate experience.

Some want to explore a wide range of feelings, approaches, and ideas.

How far a couples session goes in terms of intimacy is always determined by both people, together, and the conversation starts long before we ever get started.

I am not pushing anyone beyond the maximum that both can agree on. I am not about bringing the pressure or surprises to your experience.

Practically Speaking: What to Wear

Wardrobe in a couples session follows the same principle as a solo session. It should feel like you as a person, and it should feel like you together.

For one partner, that might be a coordinating color palette with the other.

For another, it might mean fully separate looks that come together in the images because they're genuinely you as a couple.

I highly encourage couples to come to the wardrobe consultation together so that we can think through the looks together.

What we’re creating should be cohesive and true, and that starts with taking all parties into account and coming to a mutual consensus.

The Images You Walk Away With

I adore couples sessions because they produce something neither you nor your partner could create alone.

Solo boudoir sessions give you back bits of yourself, and the couples sessions?

Well, they’re opening you up to each other in a format and medium to which you can return.

You can access your photos on the hard days and the good ones. In five years, when this season is a memory, you’ll still be able to access that special moment together.
