HOW YOUR IMAGES ARE PROTECTED AND KEPT PRIVATE IN BOUDOIR SESSIONS AT ENCHANTED MOMENTS ARTISTRY

Boudoir images taken at Enchanted Moments Artistry in Indianapolis are never shared, sold, or shown without explicit written permission, from the client. Every boudoir session is edited in house and never outsourced. Clients choose exactly what happens to their photos, from full privacy to portfolio use, and can change their decision at any time.

This one is absolutely vital, beautiful human, and I want to address it as directly as possible.

When you book a boudoir session, you're sharing something deeply personal. Your body. Your story. Moments that weren't designed for public consumption. And somewhere in the back of your mind, sometimes in the very front of it, is the question important question...

Where do these images actually go?

It's a fair question, and you deserve a clear, no-ambiguity answer.

Your images belong to you, and they are yours to keep, share, and hold completely private. My job is to protect them in that capacity.

The Short Version: Your Images Go Where You Say They Go

I will never share your photos without your explicit written permission. Not on social media. Not in my portfolio. Not in marketing materials. Not anywhere, in any form, without a direct yes from you.

That's not a policy I mention in passing. It's a boundary I hold without exception, and it's something we talk about directly before your session so there's no ambiguity when we get to the reveal.

How Your Images Are Stored and Protected

During and After the Session

Your images are stored securely throughout the editing process. I use professional editing software and storage systems with your privacy in mind.

Once you've received your final images and artwork, I maintain a backup of your files for a set period. If there's ever a technical issue or something happens to your copies, I've got you.

What I don't do is pass your images to third parties, upload them to stock sites, or share them in any professional community setting without your knowledge and permission.

The Editing Process

Your images are edited by me. Not outsourced to a third-party editing service. Not sent to a vendor overseas. Your session stays in my hands from the first click of the camera to the final files delivered to you.

This matters more than people realize. The editing stage is where images are most vulnerable to being seen by people you didn't invite into the experience. That doesn't happen here.

What You Can Choose to Do with Your Images

Absolutely everything, or absolutely nothing that involves other people. Both are valid.

Some of my clients order albums that live on their nightstands. Some print wall art for spaces in their home that feel right to them. Some share with a partner. Some gift a session, with the recipient's full consent and enthusiasm, to someone who needs it.

And some clients keep their images completely private. For themselves only. Never shared, never shown, just held as evidence of something they did for themselves.

That choice is yours, and it's not something I have an opinion about. I'm not more or less proud of a session based on what you decide to do with the images afterward.

Permission to Share Is Yours to Give or Not

If I ever want to share your images for a portfolio, blog, or social media post celebrating your session, I will ask you directly. In writing. With a clear explanation of where and how.

You can say yes, no, or yes to some images and no to others. You can give broad permission or very specific permission. You can say yes now and change your mind later.

No image goes anywhere without your explicit consent. Not a cropped version. Not a heavily edited version. Not a detail shot that doesn't show your face. Nothing.

What About the Reveal and Ordering Appointment?

Your gallery review is a private, one-on-one appointment. We look at your images together, in a secure, in-studio setting. Your images are not displayed on an open network or in a shared online gallery that other people could stumble onto.

The reveal is yours. The ordering is yours. The conversation is between us.

Practical Privacy Decisions to Consider Before Your Session

A few things worth thinking about as you prepare:

• Who, if anyone, do you want to know you're doing this? You're not obligated to tell anyone.

• Do you have a private email address you'd prefer to use for booking correspondence?

• Are there any specific images you know in advance you'd want kept out of any potential portfolio use, close facial shots, for example, or specific sets?

We can talk through any of this in the pre-session consultation. There are no wrong answers, and no preference is too specific to accommodate.

The Bottom Line on Boudoir Privacy

A boudoir session requires real trust. You're letting someone photograph you in some of the most vulnerable and most powerful moments you've ever chosen for yourself.

That trust is not something I take for granted, and protecting your privacy is not an afterthought in my studio. It's the foundation everything else is built on.
